Anthony Molino is a widely published psychoanalyst, Ph.D. anthropologist and award-winning literary translator from the Italian. A member of the Italian Society for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, he has published several of Italy’s foremost poets and playwrights in English, including Antonio Porta, Valerio Magrelli, Eduardo De Filippo and Manlio Santanelli. His most recent translation is poet Lucio Mariani’s Traces of Time (Open Letter Books, 2015). Known for his interdisciplinary researches on psychoanalysis & buddhism and psychoanalysis & anthropology, Molino also writes on art for the online Italian journal ARACNE (www.aracne-rivista.it). American-born, he presently lives and works in the Abruzzi region of Italy, where his time is increasingly devoted to curatorial endeavors.
